It’s springtime, which means it’s the best time to be experimental with your make-up and try those mushy hairstyles. While we all love getting dolled up and recreating different make-up looks – it’s hard to get the desired finish, especially when you have dry skin.

While scrolling down the IG page of various renowned make-up artists from all over the world, we figured out a few tips and tricks that we love and thought you’ll like too. Here are some hacks that you could include in your make routine to ace your make-up look and obtain a flawless radiating skin.

Choose the right facial cleanser.

A face wash should primarily help your skin get rid of impurities. It is vital to cleanse your face the right way by choosing a face wash that is appropriate for your skin type. A greasy cleanser can clog pores, while a drying cleanser can irritate the skin.

PRO TIP:  Opt for sulphate-free cleansers with ingredients like Aloe vera, hyaluronic acid and glycerin that doesn’t leave your face feeling tight and uncomfortable.

Tone your face twice a day and before applying your make-up

Toner helps in reducing the pore size and tightens the skin.

The best cream for dry skin during summers is a light-weight moisturizer that eliminates moisture back into the skin, without weighing it down. For colder weather, use heavy skin creams with the goodness of Aloe, Rosehip Oil, Vitamin E or C to retain the moisture.

PRO TIP: If you have extremely dry skin, don’t hesitate in applying moisturizer over your foundation as it helps in reducing the creases formed due to dryness and thus help in achieving a uniform finish.

Add a few drops of oil to your foundation for that dewy finish.

Beauty oil can help thin out the texture of your make-up base and make your skin look more alive and healthier.

PRO TIP: If your skin feels dry even after applying a good amount of moisturizer. Feel free to add 2-3 drops of Tea tree oil, Lavender Oil, grapeseed oil or chamomile oil and mix it with your foundation. The oil not only helps in getting that radiant glow but also nourishes your skin.
